About The Josh & Gab Show!
Josh Verbanets and Gab Bonesso are two Pittsburgh-based writers, performers, educators, and public personalities. Their works have entertained and informed audiences of all ages on both a regional and national scale; together, Josh and Gab have teamed up to develop a unique and unforgettable musical bullying awareness program.
The Josh and Gab Show spotlights the team's unique humor, various styles of songwriting and popular music, and personal experiences in an educational and heartfelt program aimed at students in both primary and secondary schools. The duo has performed their groundbreaking anti-bullying shows at over 75 schools, camps, and community venues, including Western Pennsylvania's Montour School District, Carnegie Mellon University's Waffle Shop, and the Pittsburgh International Childrens Festival, and have now directly engaged over 12,000 youth and educators.
Josh & Gab have been featured on WQED television and in national press, and recently kicked off 2013 with an official partnership with The Pittsburgh Childrens Museum. The duo looks forward to bringing their interactive programming to your school or community center in 2013!
Gab -- best known as the host of American Eagle's AEO TV, frequent "Best Comedian" winner from Pittsburgh Magazine & Pittsburgh's City Paper, and a Top-10 finalist at the New York Underground Comedy Festival-- brings a mix of stand-up comedy, storytelling, and motivational speaking to The Josh and Gab Show.
Josh -- best known as the front-man of acclaimed rock band Meeting of Important People, recipient of influential radio station WYEP's "Top Local Artist" award in 2009, and a published songwriter with compositions placed in television shows as diverse as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, MTV's The Real World & Jersey Shore, and The Ghost Whisperer-- writes and sings songs for The Josh and Gab show, and encourages audiences to clap and sing along to many different types of popular music.
